Why Your Beauty Therapist Sometimes Says "No"

Let's be honest... Nobody likes being told "no."
But if you've ever asked for a treatment and we've suggested waiting, changing the plan or even not having it at all, there's a good reason – I promise!
Our job isn't to sell you as many treatments as possible. It's to help you get the best long-term results.
Here are a few times we might say no...
"Can I have another peel?"
Not if your skin isn't ready.
More isn't always better. Sometimes your skin needs time to recover, strengthen and do what it's supposed to do. Pushing it too far can leave it irritated rather than glowing.
"Can we skip the patch test?"
Absolutely not! I’ll say it again, absolutely not! We know it can feel like an inconvenience, especially if you're in a rush. But patch tests are there to protect you. Allergic reactions can happen at any time, even if you've had the treatment before. We'd much rather delay your appointment than risk your safety.
"Can I have the same treatment as my friend?"
Maybe... maybe not.
Just because a treatment worked brilliantly for someone else doesn't mean it's the right one for you. Your skin is unique, so our recommendations will always be tailored to you, not the latest trend or what everyone else is having.
"Can you fit me in for a wax today?"
Sometimes we can...
But if you've shaved yesterday, your hair isn't long enough, or your skin isn't in the right condition, we'll ask you to come back rather than give you a treatment that won't give great results.
Why We Say No
Because we care more about your results than today's money.
We'll never recommend something you don't need.
We'll never do a treatment we don't believe is right for you.
And we'll never compromise on your safety, even if it means saying no.
That's not us being difficult.
That's us being professional.
At All About Me, we'd rather earn your trust than make a quick sale. Because great skin, beautiful results and happy clients don't happen by accident, they happen when you have someone who's willing to tell you the truth.
And we think that's worth much more than always saying "yes."
