The Holiday Beauty Prep Timeline: What to Book and When

We've all done it, well, you know I have… Booked the holiday months ago, packed the suitcase… then suddenly realised you've forgotten your bikini wax.
A little planning means you can enjoy the excitement of going away, instead of panic booking beauty treatments the day before you fly.
Around 4 Weeks Before
If your skin needs a bit of TLC, now's the time to start.
Whether you're struggling with breakouts, pigmentation, sensitivity or your skin just isn't looking its best, don't leave it until the week before your holiday. Healthy skin takes time.
Book a skin consultation and we'll help you put together a simple routine that will keep your skin looking great before, during and after your holiday.
Around 2 Weeks Before
This is a great time for:
A facial
Brow shape and tint
Lash lift or tint
Everything has time to settle, so you still look lovely and fresh when you go away.
2–3 Days Before
Leave these until just before you travel:
Bikini and body waxing
Gel manicure
Deluxe Gel pedicure (hard skin is not a good look!)
Day Before
· Spray tan
Don't Forget…
SPF isn't just for the beach.
If you're wearing it for two weeks on holiday but not the other 50 weeks of the year, you're missing the point. UV damage happens every day, even when it's cloudy.
Pack a good SPF, reapply it properly, keep your skin hydrated and enjoy the sunshine sensibly. Your future skin will thank you.
One Last Tip...
If you can, book your appointments as soon as you've booked your holiday.
Summer appointments disappear quickly, especially evenings and Saturdays, and we'd hate for you to miss out.
Need help deciding what to book? Just ask. We'll happily point you in the right direction. Enjoy your trip!
